Who needs a camera when you've got one on your phone, right? The one on my phone even has settings effects, shooting modes, etc! The first five are from La Bain at the Standard Hotel in Manhattan, the following two were taken in the Bronx, that face is from the nifty "sketch pad" application, and the last three are from the Bloody Beetroots show.
Already three weeks into school - I haven't felt closure to summer. Oy, and to think this is my last year of college...tragique! Below are a couple shots of my friend Meredith and our funny, funny animals, as well as the evolution of my new room at my apartment. I took the liberty of recruiting my boyfriend's younger brother Austin to let his "imagination run wild" so to speak. And voila! Pretty neat wouldn't you agree? If you click to enlarge the photos, you can see the tree is full of faces!
So this is Coney Island, huh? I've been here before, but long enough to not remember a thing. Honestly, amidst the trash (physical and metaphorical), this place has got its charm. Two hours by subway to subsequently spend five hours in the blistering sun isn't my idea of pleasant, but I had a wonderful time with my partners in crime, Dom and Brian. I decided to wear my new sunglasses ("John Lennon inspired") and I made some friends doing so. My boyfriend thinks the glasses are ridiculous, but just you wait, pretty soon everyone will be wearing them.
